Under the management of the founder's grandsons,
Schnitzius Manufacturing Company once again grew
and expanded. In 1968, George and Pat sought and
negotiated a merger with Charles Bartush and his
C-Bar-M Food Company and the acquisition of the
Sovereign Orange Company. These reorganizations
resulted in the Bartush-Schnitzius Foods Company
which manufactured approximately 35 products
under various labels marketed to supermarkets, restaurant chains and convenience stores.
